Solid Maple and English Oak fitout. Extreme insulation!!! All the Dbv windows and portholes are double glaized.
Steel 20/6/5/4 mm, stern lined in english oak.
Cratch cover has a new top panel, done may 2010. Both the cratch and rear cover are made of top quality sealed green canvas. Solid oak cratch, newly fitted with 6mm laminated glass.

i have had homer for 6 months, during which timei have laid a wooden floor, made wooden porthole liners, put in a shower and new loo, new electrics, new water heater and plumbing, , new cushions for the two large comfy bed chairs, curtains, and matching porthole covers, new kitchen units ,new water tank and pump, ,. safety cert. to 2014. i intended to keep homer, and was doing the work for myself, but need to sell as i have to go to cornwall a lot of the time, for family commitments, i live on a narrowboat and can no longer keep two boats. homer is a great little boat, and a lot of time and work has gone into refurbishing. purchasing homer and the cost of the work carried out.
homer is reduced to £16,500 all bills available for work and installations carried out.
homer will make a brilliant single person liveaboard, or an easy to maintain weekend/ holiday getaway. mooring available on request. |

| Narrow Boats: For Sale: 25ft steel cruier shell |
| Currently under contruction we have a new 25ft all steel river and canal cruiser shell, design to accomadate a 15hp outboard engine.the boat compromises a forward well cockpitt area gas locker,anchor point and steel front doors.
Within the main cabin theres room to accomadate 4 berths one converted double in the saloon and two good size singles at the aft of the cabin. there also room for a shower and toilet cubical and galley area.
To the aft of the boat is the steering cockpit area with steel decks, wheel steering position, seating across and fuel storage below.
Steel works specification is 6 5 4 contruction with reinforced steel angle stifferners throughout. steelworks treated inside and out with red oxide primer and two coats of marine blacking to the hull.
This boat could also be sold as a sailway.
Sailway spec is as steel shell but with flooring and ballast,
windows, 15hp outboard engine with steering system and a marine paint system to the exterior.

Iona is a fantastic 1950's wooden sailing boat which needs love but would make a super litttle boat. Constructed from plans published in Mechanix Illustrated magazine she is well built being plywood on Oak frames. She was used up until 2002 on UK inland waterways and retains her BW index number. Unfortunately the passage of time has not been kind to her and she does have some rot mainly in the upper cabin and gunwhales but chiefly in the keel caused by water ingress from above when stored on dry land - by no means a lost cause but some lengthy repairs are needed. Includes a trailor which has had new tyres fitted. All in all a very worthy project - she must be saved and returned to the water once more!

62' all steel narrow boat for sale. Very strong hull, 1 fixed double birth. Huge living room and galley. Small bath and nice refitted bathroom. Beech floor through front cabin, oak kitchen with Belfast type sink. Squirrel stove in front cabin. Engine fordson major d needs attention. Needs painting and some finishing but very comfortable liveaboard. Long certificate of compliance. Licences to dec. Moored near Banbury. Built by Peter Pashke early 80s. Please call evenings or email. I have been asked a number of times about the engine problem - the engine smokes and makes a nasty noise. This has been described tonme as bottomend, possibly new shells required. The parts for this engine are easy to obtain and are not terribly expensive from classic tractor specialists. I have also located a number of possible good replacements for it at less than £500. I have reduced the price as I need to sell her inorder to buy a house! Price reduced again. This is a lot of boat for less than 20k I must sell hersoon or she will come off the Market. |
