Description

This 45 foot cruiser stern narrowboat is powered by a Shanks 43 Engine which was installed by Barras in about 2018.
It is good engine and starts first-time.
The gas locker is located on the starboard side aft deck as one of two bench seats.
Fuel tank is on the port side.

The cabin is set out in a reverse layout with an open plan galley/saloon at the rear and separate bathroom and sleeping cabin.
The bathroom features a shower/bath, wash basin and cassette toilet
Principle heating is via a woodburning stove central to the the saloon area.
Water heating is by calorifier with an auxiliary immersion heater.
The sleeping cabin has twin bunks which extend to from a full width bed.
There is a bench seat along the port side of the saloon which doubles as a single or fold-out double bed.
Behind the bench seat is a storage shelf for small items.
There is ample storage under bunks and benches.
The cabin has been fitted by hand and all partitions are lightweight and are fully demountable.
The boat has both 12 and 240 volt electrics, a four battery leisure bank, inverter, and two solar panels. All installed as part of the fit-out.
The internal fittings require some finishing (trims, curtains, fiddle rails, etc).

The fridge is a small 240 electric fridge and has storage underneath could be upgraded to a full size fridge.
Hull survey has just been complete (May 2022) and shows the hull to be in good condition, the hull has new anodes fore and aft.
